Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy
This policy explains how the CARE Profile tool, operated by The Kimbrough Team in partnership with INERTIA / Advisor Services Group (“we,” “us”), collects, uses, and protects the health and personal information you provide.
What we collect
Information you enter in the CARE Profile discovery: your name, contact details, date of birth, sex, height and weight, health conditions and related details, lifestyle and wellness habits, family health history, support system, retirement plans, and potential funding sources. We also record the date and time you gave consent and basic technical data (such as IP address) for security. If you arrive from an advertisement or mailing, we record the campaign tag in the link you followed.
How we use it
Solely to prepare your CARE Profile — a long-term care financial planning assessment — and to review the resulting report with you (or share it with the financial professional who invited you). Report recipients see the report, not your individual answers to the health questions. If you give separate consent, we may contact you by phone or text about your CARE Profile.
What we never do
We do not sell your information, use it for advertising, or share it with insurance companies, underwriters, or other third parties without your separate written authorization. We do not use tracking pixels or third-party analytics on this tool. The CARE Profile is not an application for insurance, a medical diagnosis, or an underwriting decision.
Service providers
We use service providers to host the application and database and to send emails. They process information only on our instructions. Emails never include your individual health answers; your confirmation email includes one summary figure from your report (your estimated years of care).
Security
Information is encrypted in transit and at rest, your health answers are additionally encrypted within our database, access is limited to authorized personnel, and access to reports is logged.
Your rights
You may request a copy of your information or ask us to delete it at any time, and you may withdraw your consent. To make a request, contact us at [PRIVACY CONTACT EMAIL]. We respond within the timeframes required by applicable law. Residents of certain states (including Washington, Nevada, and Connecticut) have specific rights over consumer health data, which we honor for all users.
Retention
We keep your information until you ask us to delete it or it is no longer needed for your planning relationship.
